Zvov are Shaya Feldman and Maya Felixbrodt - a Viola and Double-bass duo, who create dada-inspired musical-theater for children and adults. The duo has existed since 2015 and is active in the Netherlands, Belgium and Israel. Their work is eclectic and it is a product of their musical backgrounds: classical music, jazz and improvisation, folk, pop and gibberish as well as interdisciplinary, combining physical movement, theater and visuals. The group creates original music, multidisciplinary and multisensory shows, and collaborates with artists around the world.
During its activity, the group released the album BABEL (self-released, 2018) consisting of songs in various languages and gibberish in particular. Soon they will release their second album, The First Bird Eurovision, at Xilent Records, Amsterdam accompanied by an illustrated book. Zvov performed in a large number of festivals and stages in NL, Europe and Israel such as: Gaudeamus (NL), Aarhus Jazz (DK), Footprint (NL) Mukodesat, Dadeland (IL) and Road Junkey Festival (CZ). The ensemble advocates the accessibility of music and creativity to diverse populations. They regularly perform and conducted workshops for children in all age groups, perform in community centers and neighbourhoods, hospitals and nursing homes.
